The focus of this event was watching
ECHO President Yasmeen Hinton's husband Ryan on the TV game show Wheel
of Fortune, with Pat and Vanna!
ECHO was able to get donated prizes
from many south-Island business people and companies.
All event expenses (facility rental, audio/video equipment, food and
drink, prizes, etc) were provided through donations.
All money raised from this event
went directly to ECHO. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
ECHO raised over $1000 at this event!

successful in helping Adopting Families. These events collectively raised
over $3000!

2006
ECHO collected art supplies through individual donations and ECHO president
Tara Tschritter personally took them to an orphanage in Belmopan Belize.
The children drew pictures for ECHO's 2007 fundraising calendar. The
supplies were then left at the orphanage for the children to enjoy.
These kids were so excited to see their artwork in print.
In addition, a family of Russian adopted children that now live right
here in BC contributed their artwork to this fun project. All of the
pictures collected are wonderful as they were drawn by the children
for whom ECHO was created to support.
This calendar was sold as a fundraiser in early 2007. The funds raised
from the sale of the calendar help provide money to Canadian families
wishing to adopt, in turn providing children from around the world with
the permanent families they long for.
